Recommend me a video camera suction mount....

Hi all,

I am looking to buy a suction mount suitable to put a small handheld video camera on a windscreen or body panels of a car.

Can anyone suggest one that does the job? i.e. Good suction cup, good sturdy ball joint etc. As I plan to use the camera on the outside of the car I don't really want it falling off while driving!

My budget is around £30, but I am not sure if that is realistic for what I am after as I don't know the going rate!

I would spend £40 more and buy the B Hague one. Use my 7D and a few different lenses and never had a problem. It's rock solid.

It's not quite as flexible in terms of positioning as the one McMacro has, but does the job for me. The suction/attachment is incredible. I attached it to a desk at work when I got it and could pick the desk up with it.

I didn't get mine from cameragrip, but I think I did pay around £40 for it.

Which now looks really expensive compared to the links above!

It is absolutely solid with a D300s and 24-70 hanging from it. I've only been brave enough to use it outside the car once, but this is just me being a wimp!
