Whitewall Aluminium Prints

I've just had a couple of panoramas printed by Whitewall and wanted to share the end result!
I went for the photo print on ali backing option.

Packaging was indestructible:

It took about two weeks but the end result was really impressive.

They are not cheap, but with these you do get what you pay for. I'm still waiting for the £20 youframe canvas groupon offer to turn up after about 8 weeks...

The glacier scene is 58"x17" and was £109, the 360deg panorama is 70"x10" and was £86. Postage for both together (although they came in separate packaging) was £29.

70" is the widest they do and you pay for surface area rather than longest edge.

Having seen these I may have to get some more walls for a few more!

Whitewall aren't particularly cheap, but they're much, much cheaper than Printspace.

I ordered a 50"x40" Ali dibond from them a few months back - was a bit worried, as the estimated delivery time was about a day before I needed it. Sent off a quick email explaining that it was wanted for an exhibition and it arrived a week ahead of schedule.

And, like the OP, can't fault the packaging or the quality.

Are these printed ONTO aluminium, or is it a print bonded onto ally? Considering getting a couple of mine on ally instead of canvas, but not seen it in the flesh to know how it looks (and how much/how badly it reflects light)?!?

These are prints mounted onto ali, they are quite matt and reflection free.

The quality and resolution is perfect!

...and so much better than canvas. If your photo can stand examination at full res then these prints are the way forward.

Call them up directly through their website, not through Groupon. - I found was magically in the paid but not forwarded to production section.

After that it still took about two weeks.

I bought a (much smaller) alu print from whitewall last year. Very very impressed, exactly what you might see in a photo gallery.

Not cheap though so I have not quite plucked up the courage to order another (larger) one! Worth the money though.

Just ordered an aluminium backed pano myself on the back of this review and others who have praised them. Prices seem ok (£109 incl delivery for a 50"x14" pano without the acrylic cover).
