Youtube Copyright Counter-Notification

On my Youtube account I have to strikes against my account for copyright infringements even though it is footage taken by me. One video that was removed is the same as this one but F1..

..and the other is from Arsenal V Spurs a few years ago.
Now I think they were wrongly done so, especially considering so many people rip stuff of the TV and DVDS! I want to get these strikes removed as I dont want to lose my account, but has anyone been successful at doing so as reading up on it Youtube seems very keen to tell you that you will be taken to court if they dont agree!

I think there are rights issues with any footage taken at such events, even if you took it.
A colleague did some filming for F1 broadcast some years ago. Even though he was an offical cameraman he was only allowed to point his camera in certain directions and not others. It's as tight as a bull's arse in flytime.

Checking your link I noticed that there were still many presumably similar videos posted there according to the list on the RH side. May of them seem to come from people living elsewhere than the UK.
You could ask for clarification about the criteria for removal (if you have not already done so.) I suspect they will say that a representative of the promoter (allegedly) has may a complaint with which they have concurred - possibly without even checking the facts I would imagine.
You also need to decide whether the specific files are worth getting upset about and whether having a YouTube account is important. Would a Vimeo account suffice?

But what I dont get is, there are other videos of the F1 on my account and they were left alone, and ive got another Arsenal related video on my account too which seems to be ok for them.You could ask for clarification about the criteria for removal (if you have not already done so.) I want to email Youtube about the issue, but unless im being blind I cant see an address to do so?
