Watermarking App For Dummies?

Hi Chaps.

Mate does a lot of ebaying and is sick of people stealing his stuff.

I know you can do this with PS but we really need a quick easy way to get a waternark on the pics.

Can anyone recommend an bit of software to do this for him?

We had lots of people using our web pics on their websites without a credit or backlink, now when I resize them I use an application called Photo Resizer and add a watermark, even when they're hotlinked they're marketing for us. It is free, can do batches etc. I'll get a link to it tomorrow.

Would that be the Fastone image resizer you are thinking of? That's what I use for watermarking and it is pretty good.

I think this is the one I used to use: Picture Shark.

Don't recommend it for critical photos as part of the watermarking applies a mask across the whole frame, affecting contrast and saturation.

But for ease of use it's pretty straightforward. Free, when I used it, too.

This is the one, really simple, not massively powerful but useful for low res stuff like web pics.
