I'm surprisingly excited...

So, tomorrow evening, I'm picking up 5 canvass/canvasses/canvii that I've had printed from a selection of photographs I've taken over the last year.

The one I'm really looking forward to is a 60x40 inch canvass to go in the living room here that is going to be immense!!

Right - I've been to London, picked them up, had dinner and hung one of them. Am shattered so the rest will have to wait, but I'm really pleased with them.

This (and my other canvasses that will be photographed when up on the wall) were done by Tim of Fluid Images who spent quite a while on the telephone with me making sure everything I wanted would be turned into 5 fabulous canvasses. Well, all I can say is that Tim certainly delivered!!

The quality is far and away the best I've seen or had printed and I won't hesitate to use Tim in the future on the rest of my canvasses as I need!



ETA: and yes, I know a down lighter bulb needs replacing

Chaps, those look fantastic! I shoot RAW and use LR to convert to JPEG which file format do you send to FluidImages for those prints? Also, what cameras were those shots taken with, I use a 5Dmk2.

Lovely, I have had some success with Photobox but nothing printed to canvas. When uploading to PB a JPEG of around 10mb is average quality for a print around 100cm X 76cm, so I have avoided that route.

That shot was done with an 5D Mk 1. I think it was a rather large JPEG I sent over for that one.

The iPhone photos really don't represent the true colours of the thing!

It is 60x40 inches and is awesome!!

Based on the word of quite a few PHers, I enlisted Tim to produce an A1 size canvas print of one of my photos and I just picked it up tonight!

Chuffed to bits with it!



Apologies for the poor lighting in the photo, really doesn't do the canvas justice!... got to decide where to hang it now!

The website is unfortunately all in Flash, but it's worth putting up with!

Also, Flash does have its place in websites - just not entire websites being built out of it (or if it is, at least have non-Flash version).

Hung a second canvass at the weekend which is looking top notch too!
