Question to all Canon 1100D owners

Hi, I'm looking to buy a Canon 1100D soon but there's one small detail I want to know that no website I've seen can tell me what is in the box with the camera.
I know it sounds stupid but I'd like to know just to see if there's things like a lens hood in there so then I don't have to go and find one that fits the kit lens

Hi there

I don't own a 1100D, but from memory, I don't think Canon include lens hoods in their camera & kit lens bundles (with the exception being if you have an L series kit lens)

I'm presuming you are getting the 1100D & 18-55mm IS bundle? If so then I believe the lens hood you want is the Canon EW-60C. If you are buying from a store then it's always worth seeing if they will include stuff like this for free

Program CD, docu CD
Camera
lens
battery
charger + power cable
USB cable
neck strap

No lens hood.

Get yourself a card reader OP - cost you about £3 on eBay and they are way better than connecting via the USB when you come to downloading your pics

My laptop has an SD card slot but thanks anyway
