2012 calendar

Toniggts probably a good night to suggest the idea again. After missing the boat on a 2012 charity calendar, hopefully we can use this year to come up with a monthly competition whereby each months winner gets the winning entry on the calendar for that month. I also suggest that all profit amounting from the sales of the calendar at the end of the year are donated to a charity. The hardest thing will be choosing the charity so would be down to a vote I'd suggest.

My choices would be cancer research or help the heros but if the are other more popular suggestions then put them forward.

We could set up a separate sticky or use the current photo comp or challenge to determine the winning shots.

What do you think?

I think that is a good idea and those are probably the only 2 charities I would give to so I would be up for helping or contributing.

Agree on charity choices as well.

Will need to start paying more attention to the challenges from here, they tend to pass me by!

Whilst not overly hopeful of getting 1 of the 12 in it is certainly something I'll be buying.

Thoughts on asking PH for involvement as well?

Thinking in terms of printing, collecting monies etc

One thought - given that a calender takes a few weeks to print and distribute would this mean that Decembers comp would need to be abandoned otherwise there won't be enough time to get it all produced before Jan 1st. Also could I suggest that although Help 4 Heroes is a great charity it has done supremely well recently perhaps at teh expense of cancer charities which still need our need in curing something that could potentially kill any one of us? Great idea though

We'd just have to cut December short by a few weeks. December is a busy month anyway so shouldn't be too bad. I think put it to the vote then for a week maybe between cancer research and help for Heros.
