Well I'm starting to ramp up my watch on Fleabay of various camera bodies. Never fails to amaze what people have to say. F'rinstance - how about a camera body bought 2011 November from Calumet which:
How can you be surprised at what you've got just after you've shelled out that much????
Not to mention that he's havvinalaaarrf at that starting price.

Which is all well and good. But he's just been out and shelled, probably, 3.5 grand, on a D3s! How can you be surprised at what you've got just after you've shelled out that much????

One of my mates who did absolutely no photography whatsoever went out and bought a 5DMK2 complete with a few L series lenses a few months after I bought my 7D when they first came out.
He earns anywhere between £6-900 a day even if he doesn't go in to work so spending a few grand on camera equipment wasn't even a drop in the ocean for him.
He dopped it last month breaking not only the body but smashing the lens as well. Next day he just went out and bought a 7D and another L series lens.
To some people money doesn't really matter.
