Here's a few of shots from yesterday's race. The first runner came home in around 1hr 40, the last around 4 hours - although a good proportion of the 4000 starters DNF. It was great fun to shoot

Thanks for the comments. Was up against 5 photographers from Getty images, 3 of which were looking to bag a shot for the Sports Photographer of the Year, so no pressure then... haha!

Spent 3 hours cleaning the mud of my equipment last night I shot with both D300S & 70-200VR and D300 with 17-55

Quite a few competitors had GoPro or similar so expect some footage to be available on YouTube in the near future

A lot of the competitors did have go-pro cameras on, half of which were walking! lol

I did it, not too shabby a time considering I did no training for it of 3:29. Half the problem with being at the rear was the waiting to get over some of the obstacles. Next year, and stupidly I've already entered, I'm going to start closer to the front, aiming for sub 2:30!!

Great fun, and I still ache!
