Canon 550D repair

Hi all,

My trusty 550D has a bit of a problem.

The rubber grip section on the side of the camera (where the shutter release button is) has become stretched and worked itself free of the adhesive securing it into place. This has just started to happen, and will only get worse.

I was wandering if it is possible to order the rubber grip piece and do a DIY job or will I have to get it professionally repaired? If so, any suggestions as to where from? (I'm based around West London/Ealing area)

I got the equivalent section for a D200 from them and it's made it look like new.

Didn't fancy sending it off for repair for something this trivial.

Just hope I don't end up making it worse!

Take time to remove all the old adhesive from the body (meths or white spirit) and get the area perfectly clean and dry. I also put the camera in the airing cupboard to make sure it was warm before fixing the new part.
