We have been building up a basket of photos to order on Jessops software. Tonight I went to order it and after entering my username and password to access my account the whole thing froze. I then got the classic terminal error box asking me if I wanted to send an error report.

I thought nothing of it and went back into the software. Usually it will ask you if you wish to upload your historic basket to view / order but nothing happened. I clicked on the "basket" tab and nothing.

I have spent ages getting this right and now it appears lost. Does anyone know if the Jessops software saves the basket somewhere on your machine? I don't understand where it gets it from otherwise. Or when you originally upload the photos are they kept temporarily on the Jessops server?

Any help much appreciated as the thought of spending another 4 evenings choosing, tinkering and adjusting the same photos does not appeal!

Not used them, can't help, sorry.

Can recommend photobox as somewhere a little more reliable for next time though...even if they cock something up they're very quick with the replacements with no quibbling.

Thanks for the good service. I gave the helpline a call and they told me nothing could be done and that the basket is lost therefore I will have to start again.

In retrospect perhaps I should have called the helpline first before saying Jessops had “screwed me”. In any event, it is more likely that Dell or Microsoft screwed me....

Big Al.
