Converting VHS/Film to DVD

I have an awful lot of VHS/Betamax family videos and reels from my late father.
We are moving house and I would like to convert this to DVD/CD. Can anyone recommend a company that can do this and how outrageously expensive it's likely to be?!

Why not buy a combined VCR player/DVD recorder and do the VHS films yourself.

Then sell the machine afterwards and get back what you can.

No idea about Betamax I'm afraid.
