Seem to remember Someone posting stills taken from a GoPro timelapse sequence. Could that be right?

Just trying to establish firstly if the GoPro can shoot timelapse/ intervalled stills and secondly how? (a contact of mine has borrowed the camera for an event tomo but no manual with it).

Yep will do timelapse. You can set from 2 sec to 30 sec interval. You need to scroll through the tiny icons away from VID camera to the 'blinking' still camera icon - it's then in timed interval.

If your timelapse is longer than a few hours, you'll need to plug it in to power as it'll happily flatten the battery in that time.

Deffo Andy, as Steve says several settings available depending on what you want to capture, most of my timelapse stuff from Oregon and California last year came from the GoPro shooting every 2 secs.

Don't mount it on the back of an R8. It won't stay there for long.
