max auto focus points or frames per second

I'd have thought fast accurate autofocus tracking has to be a prime consideration. Otherwise you might get photos all focused behind/in front of the subject.
The camera will probably have various focusing modes that link all the AF points together for such purposes, and the chances are the subject will be fairly near the middle - and peripheral AF points tend to be less accurate, so number of AF points wouldn't worry me either. Nor FPS particularly - I'd rather have one perfect shot per lap than 10 not quite right (and 10x as many shots to wade through!)
I don't think 'accuracy of AF tracking' is a feature in spec lists, but generally the more expensive the body/lens combo, the more likely it is to be better.
