Someone took this photo with my camera over the weekend. I've never seen bokeh like it. Anyone know what might have happened?

Yes, totally unprocessed. Camera is a D1X, lens is a Nikkor 50mm f/1.8.

I doubt it very much. That lens has odd (and not very nice) negative bokeh at the best of times, so I think it's a strange lens thing, not camera. But I could be wrong.

Yep, having clicked the link I think you're right. It must be the thin yellow band round the edge of the guitar that's done it.
