Which gallery?

I'm planning to redesign my website and I'm trying to pick a new gallery style.

This is my old one which I feel is out-dated: boring

This is one that I made after seeing it on another website. I really like it, but everyone seems to struggle with it - despite the instructions on the page: difficult?

What else is out there? I want something simple - not too flashy.

Looking from a mobile device at the mo. Wouldn't say "difficult", took just a few tries at prodding the screen, but if it "needs" instructions (which you can't read easily on an iPhone) it wouldn't be used.

Black background is a winner for those types of shot, definitely!
