Reminds me of a story some years back of a fellow who got done over by people in his neighbourhood, because they didn't know the difference between a paediatrician and a paedophile.
It was a female paediatrician in Newport.http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/901723.stm
And there's nothing in the act related to photography. Wasn't this covered on here a while back.
Would it be so you could buy their DVD

Thanks all.
The theatre have confirmed that the production company insisted on it. Unsurprisingly, they had an official tog there so no doubt I will be able to spend a load of money on the "approved" shots.

That is not reasonable.
If they have a tog of their own, then so can you.
They just want to scam you.

If it's on private property, they make the rules. It's the law.
Any I have no objection to that whatsoever, providing that's the basis upon which they enforce the rules. You can't because we say so - fine.
You can't because of Child Protection / Data Protection / Terrorism - not fine at all.
