Hi,
Does anyone here have the good/bad fortune of owning an Olypus E20P. I have been using one on and off for the past 6 months but have struggled with a few things, particularly race/action shots as the AF is quite slow.
Would be pleased to hear if anyone has experienced similar problems! Even more pleased if they have discovered how to rectify the problem!!!!

Cheers,

Rich.

I used to own an E10. The E10/20 really isn't suited to action work, the AF is poor, and max shutter speed is low.

One thing you can do with car shots is prefocus on a spot where you know a car will be, and take the shot as it passes over. Using a small aperture (i.e. large f stop number) will help as it increases the depth of field.

I did find a way to recitify the problems, but it involved buying a Canon 1D!

Thanks mate. Just what I didn't want to hear!!!!! But seriously I know exactly what you mean as regards to the AF etc. I think an upgrade may have to be on the agenda!!!! I have taken some pretty good shots but it is hit and miss. For stills though it is a great peice of kit for the money.
Thanks again for your help and it has at least put my mind at rest that I'm not the only one who has experienced this problem!

Cheers.
