3 CCD Camcorders

I am thinking of upgrading my kit to a 3CCD camcorder. I have narrowed down the possibilities to the new Sony HC1000 and the Panasonic GS400. Anyone in the industry have any opinions?

I know the Sony has (as yet untested) a 5.1 surround sound capability, but the GS400 has a "progressive mode" 30p style capability...

Thoughts?
