I've just had a request via my website to sell two of my freestyle motocross shots. The request is from launchpad advertising http://www.launchpadadvertising.com/

Now I have no idea what to quote back or if it is a scam. Any ideas?

There are (or used to be) guidelines according to usage, media, time, size etc... hopefully someone can find the link I can't remember! But they are offering to pay, so it seems rude not to oblige smile

Are they asking for prints or rights to use the image?
Find out their intended usage (web, print, commercial),
Useage size: 2inch ing a magazine or a 20ft billboard poster?
Print run: small distribution 10s of usages or national 1,000,000 print run.
Teritories: UK only or international.
Exclusive: them only or can you sell it to others, or even still use it yourself?

There is a site that helps work it all out, can't remember where either.

Thanks for the replies. I'll go and search for the site. I have asked the questions and I'll wait and see.

It's nice to know that someone is interested in my shots and nice enough to offer to pay rather than pilfering.

I'll let you know the outcome.
