Free 4Gb CF card - sortof

My 4 year old loves my DSLR and likes taking photos with it - now there's no way I can let her loose with it, but I want her to get in to photography.

As a stop gap before I buy a cheap secondhand bridge or DSLR for her (eventually) I've been given a Nikon E3100 compact camera - it's fine for her and she loves it and is setting up photos nicely. However it only has a 16 Mb CF card and I was given a 256mb one too.

However, I wanted a bigger CF card and the smallest I can get is 4gb which, it turns out, is too big and unsupported in her camera. So, long story short, as I don't trust eBay at all, I need a genuine 1gb card that I'm willing to trade for a genuine 4gb Kingston card.

If this is handy or works for anyone, please give me a shout

I do have a few SanDisk Ultra II 1gb cards that you can have. Although they are pretty old, I'm sure they still work.

That costs the same as the 4gb one I bought hence the offer of a swap out ....

I should have stated that keeping the CF card is pointless as I have no other device that uses it

Valid point - anyway, back to my OP - who wants this 4gb CF card for a 1gb?
