I have a fully finctional Canon which I paid £650 for back in the good old 90s. It now sits forlorn, unused, overtaken by modern point and shoot cameras. It has 2 or 3 digital mini-tapes and two rechargable batteries.

Are these of any use to man or beast these days or is it a Council recycling job? Does anyone use digital tape these days? It has a decent camera bag if that helps. wink

It may be of use for someone who has tapes and a broken camcorder and who wants to watch them or get them onto a computer for editing: Unlike modern SD card camcorders you need the camera to playback the recording so you can 'capture' the recording onto the computer.

Might be worth trying AVforums classifieds but not sure what section. Might be better than using eBay...

I use my old one as a) something for the children to make videos on, and b) a really very good webcam.
