It depends
What are you going with the footage after?
How big is your memory card?
How many cards do you have?
- Two day trip, one 32gb Class 10 but will bring laptop to offload the images/footage

- Will try and put into a movie etc but since it will be years before I am back there, wanted to make sure that I have the best/optimal source material to work from
Cheers

Settings I would use
1080 25FPS
FOV 1080P wide
11MP wide
PAL
Should give you about 4.5 hours of video on a 32G card (battery will only last 2)
Format the card in the camera before you start (or tonight).

I have the pile of items in front of me and not sure that I am going to be able to bring the laptop (beginning to think I should have bought a netbook instead of an Asus Transformer since could have cross-loaded data to a netbook)
What setting would you reduce to try and eeek out a bit more footage time from the 4.5 hours?
Thanks again

720 25fps will give you 7 hours of footage.
The footage will still look good its just the field of view will be reduced a bit.

Thanks - may go with that to have footage at the expense of FOVThe footage will still look good its just the field of view will be reduced a bit.

Just trying to download itn files to the TomTom now (it appears but I cannot figure out if it is actually working - guess I find out in a about 12 hours)
As I look around the table, it looks like someone did a smash and grab on Maplins - electronics, leads, chargers etc everywhere
