I know that it's a hot topic to have music on a video or not, but a decision has been made by the directors of the company that I work for that on the video of the latest AutoTour has to have music on it...

The photographer sourced the music last year and everyone was happy... This year, he said that he is unable to do this for one reason or another and along with the company PA, we have been left to find the music/theme track...

So let’s start with some suggestions of tracks/pieces that may be suitable...

To put you in the picture if you haven't looked at the above link...

17 classic and supercars...
Start: at our design studio, Beaulieu, New Forest.
End: Hotel De Paris, Casino Square, Monaco for the Monaco Yacht Show.

Travelling through some of the most beautiful scenery that France has to offer with fine food and wine each evening to compliment the days driving...

So, something most probably something calm/collected and non-offensive...

Ideas on a postcard...

I did the Matt Munro thing for my Euro jaunt last year

The "Italian Job" soundtrack album has the instrumental bit I used at the end.

However, viewing the 2011 video on your link, I suspect that the music used is a stock / rights acquired track. I suspect that you will need to do something similar to put things on a proper legal footing. A record company is unlikely to go after a sad man putting his holiday video up on YouTube; they might be more interested in a commercial entity using items from their portfolio without permission.

Having gone through the nightmare of copyright and Performing Rights Licences across multiple countries for music on hold I can recommend the following as a source of music
