Landscape Photographer of the Year
Discussion
It's all kicking off on LPoTY, it appears the winner, David Byrne, has been disqualified for bending the rules regarding digital manipulation.
Tim Parkin has an interesting analysis, http://www.timparkin.co.uk/2012/10/landscape-photo...

Been following this quite closely another embarrasment for LPOTY the judges should really pay a bit more attention. Good on Tim Parkin and Alex Nail to bring these issues to light and looks like they got heard.
I do feel sorry for David Byrne though his images should never of been chosen and he must be gutted, although the rules are very clear when you enter!
I just got to the shortlisted stage this year with this:

Oh dear! I do feel a bit sorry for David Byrne who clearly didnt read the rules but is undoubtedly a talented photographer (I saw other images of his in a BPE show last night). Is there a new winner then?
I was lucky enough to have an image commended this year...

What a load of bowlocks.
I don't believe David Streeter's have been. http://www.take-a-view.co.uk/2011_winners.htm

Actually.... I think Photoshopping is allowed. I think it's just removing and adding the objects that they have a problem with?
