Hi guys,

Thinking of asking for this for Christmas from the other half:

GoPro Motorsports Hero2 Action Camera

If she buys it is EVERYTHING I need to make films and upload the computer included in the box - or does she need to get me anything else?

Thanks in advance.

You need a Class 10 memory card for it and to be honest I'd get a decent move editing package. I went for Sony Vegas Movie Studio and I'm very pleased with it. It's currently £45 on Amazon but I'm sure I paid around £30 when it was on offer

Probably an immediate extra would be an external mic, but you'd also need the skeleton case for that which'll put the price up. That's not essential though.

Also bear in mind that the GoPro 3 is out now, which is why the GoPro 2 is cheaper. Nothing wrong with the '2' though, it's what I have.

I bought another Hero 2 a couple of weeks after the 3 was released when the price dipped. Feeling good now the 3 is getting some bad press for battery life etc

Make sure the patch you stick it to is clean, and not plastic. I made that mistake.

Plastic isn't necessarily a problem...

Use para cord and a small carabiner to tether the camera to something if your worried about losing the camera
