Heres the problem
Have about 3000 slides, and using a Nikon Coolscan III it will take me 100 plus hours to copy them
Had a Thought, Get a Slide duplicator attachment to fit the EOS D350 and do a slide every 10 secs instead of 2 and a half minutes
The attachment arrived and tried the first slide. Completey forgot the digital CCD is smaller than the film so i get only a part of the slide.
So that idea is binned and a dulicator is going on ebay
Next thought,get/ make up a light box and (not yet tried) get some stepping/reversing rings 42-49 and 49-58 and reverse the lens. But from remembering my Photo CPC, this makes it a macro lense and again back to only getting part of the slide. Have a Sigma 70-200 lens with a macro, but cant seem to get it to work (the macro bit) but will this have the same effect as the reversing rings
So all i want is
1) a slide duplicator that will take the full slide or
2) an arrangement on the 350 to take pictures od the slide

Anybody gone through this and the results/solution

Thanks in advance

If the slides are that good it's worth doing it properly.
