Gopro3 - external mic?

My birthday in a couple of weeks and Mrs Lefty is getting me a hero3. I want to bumper mount it and use an external mic at the rear if the car, any suggestions on what to get?

I use this one on my GoPro 2 and I'm pleased with the results.

Although, I have a couple of niggles with it (that can be overlooked due to the price). The box in which the battery is housed it too near the microphone for me to clip the microphone near the exhaust on my Elise. This means I can't tuck it in the boot and I therefore have to stick it to the bodywork. No big deal really as it's purely aesthetic.

Also the switch to turn it on and off stands proud of the battery box so it's easy to knock it and turn it on. I might just add some plastic to surround it and protect the switch.

If you get one then I'd recommend putting a zip-tie around the foam to secure it as it can come off.

My niggles are very minor but I just thought I'd mention them
