Sorry if this has been discussed before, i did try the search function but couldn't find anything specific.

I am coming up to some enforced time off at the start of Feb so plan to spend my time wisely finishing over stuff around the house but i thought i might try and improve my photography skills.

A quick google search brings up loads in London (i'm based in Surrey), does anyone have any personal recommendations? I'm looking at portraits, flash and PS skills although i am aware i won't get all in the same course.

Thanks in advance

Derek

Park Cameras in Burgess Hill may have something of interest. I attended one of their Lightroom introduction classes last year and would recommend them.

I did the Photoion beginners course last weekend at (www.londondigitalphotographycourses.co.uk). Based at the Union Jack Club next to Waterloo station.

As a beginner I went in knowing virtually nothing & came out Sunday afternoon using my camera on full manual for the first time. The amount of knowledge imparted over 2 days was incredible. We spent Saturday in the classroom going through theory, learning about apertures, shutter speed, composition etc & then Sunday we were out on the Southbank putting it all in to practice.

Great value for money & they do more advanced courses. The guy teaching us was slightly mental, very funny and worth the price of the course alone.
