I'd rather come up with something better that this to say "corporate". I also need to say "SME" and "individual". Any thoughts?!

Arms folded doesn't work for me - it doesn't say 'success'. Need more open and confident postures.

Better?

If not: I agree about the arms folded, seems a little defensive and not confident. Not a big fan of the 3d text either (mind you, not a fan of corporate imagery in general).

How to fix this? Are the business "old school" or do they mind you pushing boundaries?

I agree. Chopped-off feet don't work for me either.

I'm building a site for someone who offers consultancy / training / mentoring services, primarily around HR and career development, to individuals, small to medium enterprises and corporates.

It isn't mandatory to have imagery on the site, but I was still scratching my head looking for imagery to represent the three sectors that isn't dripping with four kinds of cheese.

I have exactly the same problem for "consultancy". At one point I had the line "shedding some light..." accompanied by a misty morning monochrome with sun just peeping through.

Just ordered business cards with a stylised "tie and collar". Couldn't think of anything else.

But you'd be better off with photographs of the actual people in conversation with each other wouldn't you? Holding a pen, a 'phone, standing by a presentation and other clichés wouldn't you???
