Ive been looking (with lust) at hiring a biggie lens, has anyone experience of hiring?

I've used LensPimp before. Very good service. Got recommended it on PH as well.

ETA: seems more expensive, but they were the cheapest when I rented.

I didn't, but I was renting 2 much cheaper lenses. Maybe if they are shipping abroad or if its a very high value they make it compulsory.

I use LensesForHire and totally recommend them.

The deposit is only required for high risk bookings, like if you're not a UK resident or are having it delivered to a hotel for example.

I've used Lenses for Hire a number of times and I've never had a problem with them or their service. I've not looked to see which fitment that lens is for but if it's a Canon one then I've used it quite a few times without any issue. My brother used the Nikon version and wasn't overly impressed with it as the lens was a poor fitment to his camera body for some reason.
