Help with improving and editing photo

Hi guys.
I took this picture at the weekend whilst trying to set up my camera. I no the picture is bad quality but I really like the way it has come out. Can anyone give any tips on editing the photo to tidy it up a bit without losing its character.



All comments regarding editing or improving next time I try to take similar welcome and will be much appreciated.

As a quick fix and in Photoshop-speak, suggest Levels to bring up the whites, Curves to punch up the middle and then crop right and bottom to improve composition.

And fix that headlight.
