Looks great, but,,,,, there is a thread running on dpreview lamenting the fact it only has a 6 shot deep RAW buffer.

Can't help thinking "so what?" about that. Having dithered for a while about the D7000 it's great to see it upgraded.

Its got some interesting features.

The 24mp sensor with no AA filter for one.

The pro/sport AF, but a tinny buffer?

Expect a D400 soon I guess.

A DX sensor is 1.5x crop so I was wondering how it did 1.3x...

Then I realised that it's taking '1.5x' as the starting point... so at this rate DX will be the new full frame... spin

Been waiting for this for a while now, the D90 - D7000 gap wasn't big enough for me (when taking into account skillset as well) but this has me very tempted.

Although I am just about to order some new golf clubs and I don't think my accountant (SWMBO) will sign both off.

Some serious man maths required...

It's nice but I wish it had a flappy swivelling rear screen for tripod work or easier live view.

I wish more DSLRs had this frankly.

Indeed I see many people treating this like some sort of Gimmick but I would kill for that feature for when my tripod is in awkward positions or just so I dont have to bend over when my SI joint pain is particularly bad.

I know people who have spent a lot on 5-7 inch oled 1080 screens for their SLR's...

6d with the wifi app is nice but still lacks a bit.

Can't believe they didn't address this weakness on the D7000 and in fact made it worse.
