GoPro Memory Usage/Memory Card

Hi

Can anyone give me a rough guide to hours/GBit ratio I can expect on a GoPro 2 Motorsport. Ideally I need a card big enough to hold upto 8 hours footage in one go. (Rally Raid stages lasting all day)

The GoPro 2 can only use up to a 32GB SD card. I would recommend one of those.

A class 10 SD card up to 32 GB is required to use 0.5 sec Time-lapse, 10/1 Photo Burst, and Protune.

As for how long you'll get. I'm not sure, but it should be good for at least 8 hours on something like 720p30.

You'll run out of battery before that, but I assume you know that.

Remember to get class 10 cards if you want to use the higher settings on the go pro

Many thanks - I have x2 32gb cards. Both purchased from a legitimate source!
I am hoping to get a spare battery too before we travel.
