Photographs on different substrates.

MODS, I am not trying to sell anything here. I need genuine help from photography experts before taking thoughts any further!

I work in a small family company that has the ability to print onto fabrics of many different types, from flags, table cloths, cushions, clothing and speaker covers. Currently only used for corporate work, brand logos etc.

I am doing some research to understand if there is an interest from professional photographers to put their prints onto something different to the usual paper or poor quality canvas, to a very high quality standard.

Does anyone have this done already or would use such a trade service? I would appreciate any comments and would gladly help with a few free prints for PH’s that could offer any serious advice.

Have a look at what companies like Loxley and Sim2000 are doing. They offer all sorts of different things to have your work printed on. It might give you a bit of inspiration if nothing else.

Thanks, I have seen many companies offering these sorts of items. We could do this if required but specifically focussing on very high resolution print on fabrics. For example 1.8m wide x 50m long digital textile(s) prints, so in theory you could have photographed home furnishings, table cloths, cushions etc printed but in the sort of vivid punchy look you would only normally see on a high resolution paper printer. One option is maybe we partner with someone like the companies you mention to increase their own portfolio of offerings?
