Is it possible to repair corrupted AVCHD files?
Discussion
I have a Panasonic HD100 video camera recording to a recently purchased 32gb Class 10 SD card.
Having recorded a fair amount of footage during a ski holiday, I come to review the recordings and on the later recordings, the camera tells me 'Control data error has been detected' It then trys to repair the file and when it fails, it deletes it.
I have copied all the files onto my PC hard drive and when I try to play any of the problem files it plays random parts of other recorded clips. I have searched on the web and there are several suggestions which I have tried with no success.
Have any of the Pistonheads Video officionados come across this before and have you been able to rescue the files?
Any help is appreciated.
Best regards,
darren
