Decent small shoulder bags

Does anyone have any recommendations for the above?

I'm looking for something that is big enough for camera with lens attached (60D) and possibly a spare lens, battery and whatnot and also enough room for maybe a passport, bottle of juice or whatever, should I be tramping about a foreign city.

The thing is though, I want something that doesn't scream 'nerdy camera bag' with technical fabrics and and plastic buckles and the like.

I suppose I really mean a small shoulder bag that looks a bit retro, maybe waxed cotton or so, that you could legitimately wear as a bag without looking like you're off to a shoot.

Something like this maybe?

Any ideas appreciated. I've got a massive Lowepro rucksack for work duties, but it won't be coming on holiday with me!

Why not use a standard smallish rucksack - asda sell one suitable for a tenner or so
Advantages of using a standard rucksack is that no-one would suspect you've got camera kit inside

Billingham absolutely beautiful. That's exactly what I'm after. Unfortunately, the camera and lenses has left me exactly too poor to even consider one!

Rucksack is out as I just don't like them, for some reason. I agree that they are practical, more comfortable etc etc but I'm a vain sod and don't relish the idea of charging about Venice or Paris with a rucksack on...

So what's a cheap and cheerful Billingham alternative then?

I like Domke bags because they are simple canvas bags, but well made and you can get a lot in for their external size (since they are not as heavily padded as some makes). I use a black canvas F3X as my small bag, but they do smaller ones that might be more what you are looking for. The F5 maybe?

Does it look big enough for a 60D with say an 11-16 fitted and maybe another lens?

The padded inserts are kind of how the FStop Gear bags work, I find it works really well.
