I have a need to be popular and amusing.

Can anybody recommend an entry level Photoshop package that will enable me to achieve the above? Including costs.. I've google searched but only end up clueless

Maybe Photoshop Elements?

I only use the full package because of work and I haven't used this but I think it'll be a good introduction.

Make a point of learning masking techniques, understanding layers and colour correction.

Don't waste time with special filters and all that puff.

Their Android app is actually very respectable, I use it with my S3 for quick snaps.

For PC though it's got to be Elements.
