Lens for wedding

Hey guys,
Going to a friends wedding in a few weeks time and while he has the photography sorted, he said feel free to bring your kit and take some shots if you like. So I am gonna use this as a chance to try some kit I've been thinking of buying and if I get some nice photos out the other side, maybe I get them printed up for him as a gift.
So I have an NEX-6 and a smattering of bogo lenses (55-210 mm f4-5.6, 16 - 50 mm f3.5-5.6 power zoom, 35 mm f1.8 prime).
The 35 is pretty much the best lens out the lot. For a consumer lens its lovely and sharp. But what I want to try is the Sony LA-EA2 A-mount to E-mount lens adapter. This contains AF drive, a translucent mirror and the AF system from one of Sony's SLT SLRs. So this enables the use of A mount lenses on NEX cameras whilst retaining full AF.
The wedding is a little off the traditional path, A lot of it may well be outside in a marina. So I will take all my lenses but want to hire something like the Carl Zeiss Distagon T* 24mm f/2 ZA SSM or the Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* 24-70mm f/2.8 ZA SSM along with the adapter.
I am leaning towards the 24-70 as it will be more flexible and the 24mm prime is a little too close to my 35 in function. However the bokeh on the zoom isn't very nice (according to PZ.de) and you do lose 1/3 to 1/2 a stop of light due to that translucent mirror. I would still get the DoF of a 2.8, but the light performance of a 3.5 ish? Not sure that would be fast enough for some indoor work sans flash gun unless I use ISO 3200 (which I am not happy with on this NEX-6).
Does the 24-70 sound like the best bet? Or do I want to be trying to find something faster? or heck even something longer?

I don't normally need to use more than f3.2 and IS0800, the exception being very dull churches where I might rarely have to use f2.0 and ISO1000. That's effectively the non-flash operating limit for me as <f2.0 is too shallow and >ISO1000 gets noisy.As for focal lengths, that's up to you and what you want to do. Make sure you're not so busy faffing with lenses that you miss the shot!

Can get hold of the CZ 85mm f1.4 and the 135mm f1.8
Primes though and I only have one camera. Might be best to just stick with the 24-70 and keep it on most of the day. I'm sure it'll be fine for what I want.
I'm there as a guest at the end of the day. So I'll be catching up with my Friends. Reduced faffing would be a good thing, just have the camera over my shoulder ready if I see something.

As a guest, sticking with the 24-70 and enjoying the day sounds like a good choice. The camera will be ready all the time and you won't be lugging around a bag of lenses, continuously swapping them over and getting distracted from the real reason that your there.
If it does get a bit dark for any indoor shots, ramp up the ISO as much as you have to - the noise might not be great, but a blurred shot will be far worse.
