I have a few searches set up on eBay to report new listings for some types of kit. Mostly there to keep an eye on the market but for some reason I also find it vaguely interesting to read the seller's blurb (the personal message stuff, not the tech copy an paste) with a view to guessing how, er, "complete" the tale really is. Quite chucklesome sometimes.

Today for example induced a wry smile.

"I'm a keen Amateur, the camera has not had much use. I'm selling all my kit, as I don't use it."

There is something slightly odd about that message. Can't quite work out what is is though. wink

Any other fine examples out there?

I common one is from things like laptops or cars, usually sold by some sort of specialist with a "simple fault probably, haven't got the time to check"
