Technically it's not an advert; you can have URLs in your profile. And maybe it's just his favourite image bank - if he doesn't bother to tell us we can only guess.

True, but so often we see post like this and the telling factor is "Posts = 1"

Spamming isn't that much of a problem on PH in general is it?

Would be a shame to see them add rel="nofollow" to all the profile links. Thought the times of people getting links from forums for SEO purposes were long gone...
