Should I be wary?

Put one of my lenses (mp-e65) on ebay recently, its achieved a good price and feedback scores are high from all bidders but have read a few horror stories on here over the last few days of people being taken for a ride with paypal, normally I only buy things on there so the selling thing is a little new to me.

Am I better telling the person that he or she collects in person and pays cash?

its £600 odd quid so would rater loose the sale than not get paid for the lens.

Remember, PayPal will take a nice big chunk out of that £600. Try get them to pay cash or bank transfer to avoid the crazy fees.

Relax - I've sold a ton of stuff and never had an issue

(do be aware of the fees though)
