This months theme is not one photo but two.....DIPTYCH!
I am a big of these as they can really help to tell a story, and can make two otherwise unassuming photographs become something special....in other words, the diptych can be more than the sum of it's parts. Some food for thought - it could be two views of the same subject, two points in time, two treatments of the same image or even two different subjects that have some kind of link...

Good job on all the entries, great to see a few more than last time.
In 3rd place, HedgehogFromHell's cat pictures. The two compositions work well together, with the angles of the ears in both pics pointing towards the other to give a pleasing diptych. But be careful with the colour and white balances as the two images don't quite match there.
In 2nd place, londonagent's bokehlicious abstract. I liked that the pictures were slightly different (the closer one was not just a crop) but still very much the same subject.
But the winner this month is.......
ROBBIE KB! with the excellent wasp macros. The timing of the two shots gives a great sense of movement to the scene, and IMHO works better than either would on their own. Which is of course, the whole point of a diptych. 
Special mention for James Tigerwoods' interesting take. Not sure if it was two separate images or one, either way the lighting gives the effect of multiple shots.
So Robbie, over to you!

It was indeed a single shot, hence why I wasn't sure, but I liked how there were 2 layers to the photo. Well, in my own view anyway So Robbie, over to you!
