Camera and tablet connectivity
Discussion
Eye-Fi cards are crap from what I've seen and they only do SD card versions.
If you shoot a Canon and an Android tablet have a look at this : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.c...
Its really rather good, pretty much it gives you as much control as using the camera direct.

As mentioned above, the Canon 6D has this feature; it broadcasts its own wifi network which you can connect to and use a Canon app on your iphone / ipad (maybe others?) to see live view, change settings and fire the shutter. You can also use it to view photos on the camera memory card, and download them straight to the phone or tablet.
On holiday a couple of weeks ago, we wanted to send a "personalised" postcard using the Touchnote app, but the camera on the phone is of course rubbish. So I was able to take a decent family photo on the 6D, then transfer it via wifi to my phone and use it as the postcard image. I'm sure there are better uses but that's the only time I've actually found it useful so far!
