Point and shoot for the misses
Discussion
Alright peeps. I'm looking to get a camera for the misses for holidays because she hates using a DSLR with taking the lenses off and the bulky feel of them. I've spotted the Panasonic Lumix ZX10 here for £79.99. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B008MVLI2I/ref=red... . Is this a good camera for the price and to point and shoot?
Thanks in advance. Christian.

If you can push a bit further you can get a Canon S100 for £239 http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B005N5NF6...
Now that's a damn fine camera (and tiny)

I can get a second hand Sony NEX - 5 for £210. Is that a good deal?
That is a mirrorless camera though, a compact body but with a APS-C sensor and interchangeable lenses, so possibly not ideal if she's not keen on swapping lenses (although the kit lens may be sufficient). It's worth considering one for the size factor though, if you want the quality of or close-to your DSLR.Have a look at the Canon SX240HS (the SX260HS has GPS). Over £200 last year, now £130-ish.
There is also a Panasonic which is last year's TZ30 (what I have)and I have few complaints but prefer Canons based on past experience (not tried the SX240 yet.
I rarely use the GPS on y TZ30 as it just sucks the battery if left on.
