I'm going to Norway this summer and have an Olympus E-PM1 and was thinking about getting a lens filter for landscape and water shots.
As a complete beginner to lens filters what would be best. I do not want to have to be changing filters all the time so would like an all-rounder.
What do the combined photographic minds of PH suggest?
Thanks in advance.

Depends what you want to do, if you want to balance exposure between the sky and ground you'll want an ND grad kit. If you want to make water appear smooth and 'milky' like you'll need some fairly strong ND filters for longer exposures.

If you want to lose reflections and enhance skies (good for water) you'll probably want to get a circular polariser.

Thank you chaps.
I want to keep it simple as SWMBO will not appreciate me spending hours taking photos.
A circular polariser sounds a good way to start things off. Do you agree?

It's one of the few things you can't replicate in post, so yes, not a bad place to start!
