Who has got something other than a GoPro? I went for a JVC Adixxion instead as it can be used without a case and I think has a better form factor and a built-in LCD display

I've just had a quick practise with it but so far seems pretty good:

Drift. I like them much more than GoPro, the twisty lens is the best bit.

Drift HD Ghost. Superb bit of kit.

Agreed with the above.

Love the adjustability of the twisting lens and the built in screen with none of this add on LCD screen b.s. Plus you dont look such a tit with one on your crash helmet etc. the GoPro as good a bit of kit as it is, is just too baulky and a bit of a fashion statement to some smile

Contour. Used and abused them for a couple of years.

I am thinking of selling my drift hd170 stealth. It has some scratches on the case but works perfectly. Message me for more info!

+1

I use a contour for skiing, biking etc etc and its pretty indestructible. Great video quality too.
Plus it looks way cooler than the silly boxy go pro things smile

Typically, a week after I buy something a replacement model is announced. JVC are releasing a new version of their Adixxion camera:

We use a lot of GoPros for filming racing in/on cars for the telly, they're good quality, reliable & tough. As with all these things you pays your money & takes your chances, but if there was something better we'd be using it.

Really hehe

There are much better cameras than the GoPro's but it comes down to cost.

Another Drift Ghost fan here - but anyone know if it's possible to configure the wifi output as a 'secure' signal?
