I have created a gallery of images from the Outlaw at www.triathlon-questions.com in the BLOG section. I was an official photographer covering the event in a editorial fashion for One Step Beyond.

I was there...watching mind!
Was absolutely horrible weather for this. People just looked like they were melting! Had 2 friends doing it, 13.28 and 14.20 respectively which is fantastic for their first ironman.
Tempted my self. The swim is no problem, 3.8km is a normal training session. The bike I could probably muddle through (especially in notts as its quite flat) but the run! no way. I don't even think I could run a half marathon fresh, let alone a full one and let alone after doing 7-8 hours of swimming and biking before hand!
pictures are fantastic. Some really nice ones in there, especially with the low morning sun. well done.
BTW do you know the times for first swimmer?
