I've been published......
Discussion
.....in EVO
The latest issue (Koenigsegg on the cover) on page 5 - the side view of the Koenigsegg CCR with the door open - that's my picture!
Granted, it's not one of my very best efforts and because it's cropped it has been enlarged too much in order to fit the page so sharpness suffers terribly. On the other hand, if EVO think it works, who am I to argue
Anyway, I'm well chuffed to have been published in the hallow pages of EVO!
Maybe I should go for the cover shot next time

Magnificent!
Only on Pistonheads do we see the emergence of new talent worthy of national publcation. In no less than one of the best available automotive magazines on the shelves today.
As well as Mrs Fish and her fantastically creative calender designs, and many other stars waiting in the wings. I would not be surprised if we see the likes of David Bailey (Sir) contributing here soon with his first nervouse newbie post.
Wonder what he drives?

OK, time to share the knowledge I think? ![]()
Equipment used? Fuji S2 Pro with Tamron 28-75
Focal length? 28 mm
Aperture / shutter? f9, 1/350, ISO 200
Any filters? Neat Image
Any PS adjustments? The basics - curves and USM. There was a fence behind the car and also part of a building on the left which were removed. The sky was copied to a separate layer and adjusted to increase contrast and colour (blending mode - Multiply). A few stains on the tarmac in front of the car were also removed and the foreground was gradually darkened towards "the camera" to give some extra depth.

Oh, and how on earth does one become privy to a Koenigsegg shoot!
I'd tell you, but then I'd have to kill you
