CHDK

Hi.

Perhaps a long shot, but has anybody got any experience of using CHDK? I'm trying to install it on an 8GB SDHC for using in my Canon S95 (firmware version 1.00H).

I've followed various methods to create a bootable SD card, including using EOSCard which should make it bootable, but every time I just get a "Memory Card Locked" message and CHDK clearly hasn't booted?

Any ideas much appreciated.

Have you caught the lock button on the memory card? All my SD cards have a little slider on them that locks them.

From what I remember the SD card switch needs to be in the locked position when it's in the camera (yes I know that sounds wrong) but check the WIKI).

Sorry for the delay in replying. I got it all working fine on a smaller card using STICK so now it's a case of trying to get it working on the (or a) larger one.

And yes, CHDK makes the camera ignore the lock switch which has to be locked to allow it to boot.
